Josh: Ok Chimchar Ember, let's go

Chimchar then starts spitting out embers at the scuffle Pokemon, who shows amazing agility and jumps from tree to tree to avoid the attacks and then lands a powerful and speed Macj Punch on Chimchar who gets sent flying back and is caught in the arms of Josh who places him back on the ground to continue the battle

Josh: Ok Chimchar lets see him keep up with our Flame Wheel

The Chimp Pokemon then engulfs itself in flames and starts spinning at Tyrogue who all of a sudden starts spinning like a top, obviously using Rapid Spin. Both Pokemons attacks collide and they both get knocked back. Tyrogue is seen holding its arm, obviously showing that it took damage from that attack, but it doesn't want to give up.

Josh: Ok, lets try Ember again

Once again Chimchar starts spitting out embers, but this time Tyrogue doesn't even try to avoid them and takes the full hit in the chest and is sent skidding along the ground before standing up and is seen surrounded by fire

Josh: Alright Chimchar, we burned him. Wait wh-

As Josh, Chimchar and the Old Man look on they see the flames die down and now Tyrogue is surrounded by a crimson aura

Old Man: Oh on, it's activated it's ability, Guts. You see whenever a Pokemon with Guts is affected by a status problem Guts kicks in and boots the Pokemons attack power

Josh: Wait, so you mean Tyrogue took the hit because it wanted to activate Guts?

Old Man: That's right, and now you've got a real fight on your hands

Josh: Don't worry, me and Chimchar can still take him

As Josh then turns back to the battle Tyrogue jumps high up in the air and comes down, landing a perfect Hi Jump Kick on Chimchars head, dropping it straight to the ground. Just as it looks like the battle is over Chimchars tail starts to grow and it gets up revealing his eyes have turned red

Josh: Tyrogue isn't the only Pokemon with an ability, this is Chimchars and it's called Blaze which ups Chimchars fire moves if its hurt, now lets end this Chimchar

Chimchar then surrounds itself again and goes for a more powerful Flame Wheel, but this time Tyrogue doesn't go for Rapid Spin and runs at Chimchar with his fists clenched and when Chimchar comes into his range he throws a powerful Mega Punch, stopping Chimchar's Flame Wheel and sending him crashing into a tree. Chimchar, who's not happy with losing, gets up and uses up all of his Blaze power and goes for a Flamethrower

Josh: What? Flamethrower, but I thought you didn't know that yet

Tyrogue then uses all of his remaining Guts power and goes for a Rapid Spin to try and deflect the flames, but as they come in contact with him they knock him straight to the ground and KO him

Josh: Ok, Pokeball go!

Josh then unclips an empty Pokeball from his belt and throws it at Tyrogue, which hits him on the head and sucks him inside and the ball drops to the floor before rocking violently back and forth. This goes on for a few minutes before finally stopping, Tyrogue was now Josh's. But then as Josh goes to congratulate Chimchar, the Chimp Pokemon falls to the ground totally drained from the battle

Josh: Oh no, Chimchar

Old Man: Here, take this map of the forest, it'll help you get out quicker so you can heal your Chimchar, and also take this Potion just in case you come across a wild Pokemon

Josh: Thanks, how can I repay you?

Old Man: You stopped that Tyrogue from destroying the forest, this is my way of repaying you, obviously if you could stay I'd give you more but your Chimchar really needs attention so I'd recommend getting out of here ASAP

Josh: Thanks sir

Josh then grabs Chimchar and runs towards where the map shows the exit of the forest is

As Mona finally reaches her destination, Viridian Forest, she regains a breath. Deja Vu?

"Well, we are never going to do that again. If you pull a stunt like that again, I'll have a nice new carpet."

Bubbles got a blank expression on her face due to the threat-wait-promise. Poliwag walked over to a tree and jumped in the crevice made by another Pokemon. Mona felt somewhat bad but was irritable for no good reason. Mona sat criss-cross applesauce. She stretched out and fell on her back and stared at the sky-or where the sky would be if they weren't replaced with trees. She began to speak.

"I didn't it but I'm just...We had a run in with a cop. That's bad. So...yeah...So...ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING!!??"

Bubbles jumped out and turned her head. She looked at Mona and used a small water gun on her face. Mona was drenched and if she wore make-up, her eyeliner would be running. She spat up some water.

"I deserved that one but be careful with your moves since you be Powerful when you need to."

Mona stared at the trees and saw the light shining through the trees. She heard a slight roar as the light disappears. She saw the "cloud" slowly go over the whole forest. She quickly realized that the cloud was a flock of beedrill. She heard a scream and ran toward the action, followed by Bubbles. They saw a smaller teenager with a Bulbasaur. He was yelling for help and Mona turned around and walked away. The trainer started to shout.

"Please help!"

Mona continued on.

" I will give you a reward!"

Mona has Dollar signs in her eyes and turns to help. She gets to the area and starts to help. His Bulbasaur was using vine whip left and right and Bubbles with Bubblebeam and Icy wind. They were fainting all around and one beedrill came from behind to sting Bubbles but Bulbasaur took care of that. The Pokemon were bonding in a weird way. The last cluster of beedrill were headed toward us and he decided to show me up. He used sunny day followed by a solar beam. Mona decided to join this party. Bubbles was told to use a icy wind but a little bit more direct in a straight line. A ice beam was formed and shot. Not perfect but enough to take out the remainder beedrill. Oh, and Mona planned on collecting said reward. She turned and stared down the trainer. Your welcome spread across her face. She felt accomplished.

Mona walked up to the trainer she "saved" intending to collect the reward. As she gets face-to-face with the trainer she grinned. She stood there for about 10 seconds before straightening out her smile and she pushed her tongue against her bottom lip becoming irritable. She cleared her throat in a manner that obviously showed her thoughts without a single word. Yet she stilled decided to speak.

"Listen here, buddy, you stated and I quote..."

"I will give you""My best Pokemon!"

The trainer rubbed his eyes in shock and gasped!

"Wait, I said reward not my best Pokemon!"

Mona shook her head no and grinned a devious smile in Bubbles direction. Mona twisted words to form her own nice little prize/reward. She stuck her hand out and curled her fingers in her own direction thinking "Pay up buddy". To her surprise, it worked!

"Fine I must of just forgot my wording. Luckily, my Mommyy---i mean, Mother, sent me this Pokemon that I have no idea what it is and I haven't yet opened it. Take it...but do me a favor and open it away from me so I don't get mad."

Mona snatched the Pokeball and turned away and headed back to town. She paused,grinned,turned around and shouted for the Trainer. The trainer who Mona didn't bother to exchange names with, turned and looked at Mona. She took a step forward and found a "root" and "tripped" dropping the pokeball to the floor. The seal loosened and light glimmered from the inside. The shadow formed and the blinding light wore off. Only to reveal her new companion. A very young Larvitar, female, that looked tough and Mona's eyes glistened. She patted the Larvitar on the head,returned the Larvitar hearing the "Laarrr" as the Pokeball closed, and yelled at the trainer.

"Hasn't your oh so kind Mother taught you that it is rude to keep your mouth open for so long!

The boy was depressed and in shock when Mona turned away and walked off into the forest leaving the young trainer.
